Private Adoption

Private adoption is often the most “organic” method of caring for the fatherless through adoption. Families may decide to privately adopt for several different reasons. It may be that you have a friend or family member with an unplanned pregnancy who is seeking an adoption plan. Perhaps a close friend has died, leaving their children without a home.

Or perhaps you are a mother expecting a child and feel that making an adoption plan would be best for you and for your child. We understand that a mother’s desire is to give her child the best future possible.

Whatever the case, private adoptions are often the best demonstration of how to lovingly care for vulnerable children and birth parents.

At The Adoption Law Firm, we pride ourselves in zealously representing birth-parents in their journey to find the very best adoptive families for their children.

It is a joy to help connect birth parents seeking an adoptive home for their child, to adoptive parents. We believe that facilitating a relationship between adoptive and biological parents is one of the best ways to ensure that biological parents feel at peace with their decision. It is also a great way for adoptive parents to have some information and context to offer their adoptive child about his or her family of origin throughout the years.

If you would like more information about private adoption please give us a call!

Embryo Adoption:

“When couples use in vitro fertilization to achieve pregnancy, they will often have embryos remaining after they complete their family. One option available to them is to donate their embryos to another family through embryo adoption. That family could be you. You could experience pregnancy, parenthood, and family through the miracle of embryo adoption.”

It is estimated that there are well over 1.5 million embryos in frozen storage in the United States.

If this is an adoption path that interests you, please feel free to give us a call and learn more.

Check out this podcast where Sam and Mary Beth McLure chat with Dr. Chris and Lee Ann Duggar about their experience and success with embryo adoption. Dr. Chris and Lee Ann are a loving couple who wanted to grow their family, but were having a difficult time getting pregnant. In the process of growing their family naturally, they were also open to adoption. The adoption option that interested them the most was embryo adoption.

There’s an astonishing number of frozen embryos left over from in vitro fertilization that other couples have made available for adoption. This meant Lee Ann could carry and give birth to the baby they adopted!
