We Love a Good Christmas Adoption

December 20, 2012 //  by Sam McLure

Adoption stories are exciting to me all the year round, but especially at Christmas. I love to hear of a family put together, a family mended, right around the time that we celebrate God mending His family. It’s also the time of year we brought our son Robi home, and I will take any opportunity to be sappy and sentimental about that! So our family is excited to celebrate with Brian and Leslie Word who are leaving December 26 for the Democratic Republic of Congo to pick up their son Tyson. For those of you who also enjoy being sappy and sentimental, you can visit Leslie’s blog and read their story. (As an added bonus, Leslie is super-interesting and not -maybe -very -sappy. So feel free to read up without any sentiment!)

Enjoy!
