USA Today recently published an article highlighting the award-winning documentary, STUCK. The documentary exposes the difficulties that many families face when navigating the bureaucracy designed to protect children.
The last thing we need in this country is more government getting in the way of the pursuit of happiness. We don’t need more regulation here. Regulation is what’s literally risking the lives of these kids. We need less regulation. We need government doing what it can to lessen its bureaucratic burden to make that pursuit of happiness more available. Obviously we don’t want these children adopted by scoundrels. But does it really take 896 days to do a background check? Presidential campaigns seem like endless affairs nowadays, but they don’t even last 896 days!
