Associate Attorney
Megan grew up in Birmingham before attending the University of Alabama on a Presidential Scholarship. She graduated in 1995 with a degree in Journalism. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law in 1998 and began working as a Deputy District Attorney for Jefferson County.
During her five years with the D.A.’s Office, Megan prosecuted felony crimes — including rape, robbery, burglary, kidnapping, and murder — and presented dozens of cases before a jury. Following her time in the D.A.’s Office, Megan worked in private practice. After many years as a stay-at-home mom, Megan is excited to be back in the courtroom serving foster and adoptive families across central and northern Alabama.
