New Adoption Tax Credit

January 20, 2014 //  by Sam McLure

Exciting News! On January 15, 2014 the legislature approved a refundable $1,000 income tax credit for private adoptions or adoptions through the state foster care system which would apply in the tax year in which the adoption was finalized. We pray that this will encourage families to seek adoption and provide children with a permanent home. For more information, please visit http://alhousegop.com/commonsense/ or call Boone Kinard, Policy Analyst for Speaker Mike Hubbard, at 334-242-7321.
