Alabama Pre/Post Adoption Connections is hosting an informational training event designed specifically for helping children with a disorder on the fetal alcohol spectrum (FASD). Topics will include a comprehensive review of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, a review of the visible and invisible effects of prenatal alcohol exposure, a discussion of the “secondary disabilities” of FAS, and practical interventions for children with FASD and their families. General admission for the event is free, and there will be multiple sessions throughout Alabama in February and March.
