When God calls us to an adventure, he always provides the resources. For Elijah, that meant God would protect him from the wrath of wicked-King-Ahab by hiding him beside a brook and feeding him from the mouths of ravens. For some would-be adoptive parents looking at the intimidating costs of adoption, a few morsels form a raven’s mouth might sound appetizing!
Thankfully there are groups such as Lifesong for Orphans that are in the business of helping families afford adoption. Lifesong recently announced that they have helped provide funding for 6,500 vulnerable children to be adopted!
