More Than 300 People Show up to 8-Year-Old Texas Boy’s Adoption

February 20, 2020 //  by Sam McLure

More than 300 people showed up to Nike Garza’s adoption into the Schwartz family on February 17. After spending half his life in foster care, Nike was finally given a loving family to be a part of. Nike was adopted by David and Kristi Schwartz, who have two other children, one of which is adopted.

Friends, Classmates, and Church members all showed up to Nike’s adoption to celebrate with him and his new family. As an added surprise, Nike was given a signed football by his favorite quarterback, Cowboys’ Dak Prescott, and the entire Cowboys 2019 team.

What a wonderful gift, to be given a loving family to be a part of after not having one for so long. Read the full story here.

If you have questions about the adoption process, please contact us at the Adoption Law Firm to set up a consultation today.

My name is Brennan DePace. Born and raised a pastor’s child, I have always had strong Biblical values. Being Home-schooled, my parents made sure to give me a rigorous and thorough education. I am now a Freshman at Auburn University at Montgomery studying History, with the hopes of attending law school and becoming an attorney.
