We have some very talented legal interns this summer and we are so thankful for the incredible talent and passion they bring.
Gretchen has been an immediate asset to the firm and to vulnerable children in the state and we are pleased to introduce her to you.
Gretchen Nicole Hedke is going into her third year at The University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa, AL. She also attended The University of Alabama for her undergraduate education, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Political Science and French.
During her undergraduate eduction, Gretchen was passionately involved with Bama Students for Life at UA and hosted weekly tabling events to educate students about adoption as a nonviolent alternative to abortion and to advocate against abortion, assisted suicide, and euthanasia. She was also a William Wilberforce Fellow with Students for Life of America.
At the UA School of Law, Gretchen is now the President of the Saint Thomas More Society. She received the Honor for Best Paper in her Advanced Family Seminar class for the Spring 2021 semester and the Dean’s Community Service Award. Before the pandemic, she was a Volunteer Ombudsman for a local nursing home, but she continues to participate as a pen pal.
Gretchen is passionate about the pro-life movement and is excited to serve the movement as an advocate for adoption.
