Alabama Adoption Agency: Catholic Social Services of Montgomery

January 27, 2012 //  by Sam McLure

Catholic Social Services “Your Link For Life”

Catholic Social Services has been a stable resource for birth parents in Alabama since 1952 and has placed thousands of babies for adoption.  Catholic Social Services is a licensed child-placing agency, and their services are available to everyone who is considering adoption. No you don’t have to be Catholic!  They offer personal service, during and after pregnancy and the birth of the baby.  Katey Russell and Jean Blackmon are the trained social workers who assist birthmothers in making the best decision for their baby.  They are available to provide support in person, by telephone, or by email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Catholic Social Services also provides services and support to families who are interested in adopting. The agency is licensed to complete home studies for agencies, private and international adoptions and post placement services for families.

Jean and Katey can be reached at 334-288-8890, ext. 205 or 201 and by e-mail at Russell@cssalabama.org and Blackmon@cssalabama.org.

Check out the Catholic Social Services web site to learn more about the agency.
