Adoptive Families Group Meeting in Montgomery

September 16, 2014 //  by Sam McLure

Here’s a great event and dinner for adoptive families in the Montgomery area.

On Thursday September 18, join Alabama Pre/Post Adoption Connections (APAC) and other adoptive families at the upcoming APAC meeting at Frazier United Methodist Church.  Dinner will be provided by APAC.  The meeting begins at 6:00 PM in the John Ed Mathison Center.

According to the APAC website at www.childrensaid.org, APAC is a statewide program designed to empower adoptive families facing adoption challenges and to facilitate stronger bonds and interaction within all adoptive families. APAC is a collaborative effort between Children’s Aid Society and the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

If you would like to attend Thursday’s dinner, please RSVP to Monica Russell by calling 334-409-9477 or emailing Monica at mrussell@childrensaid.org

This group meets the 3rd Thursday of every month.  It is a great way to find support whether you are a pre or post adoptive family.

Follow APAC on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/childrensaid or visit their website at www.childrensaid.org
