I am interested in finding out about how I can adopt my grandchildren. In one case my granddaughter was born in my household and was placed on my Insurance at birth. There was really no reason for me to adopt at that time because there was no requirement for her to be adopted because I was able to add her to my insurance. However, as she will be entering collage I am having trouble with her using my VA benefits for collage because I have not adopted her. In the other case my daughter has ADHDH that is not under control and has two children where one is already diagnosed with ADHD and the other probably will be diagnosed. She has asked me to adopt these kids so that she can get the help she need for her mental health. My question to you is how much does a grandparent adoption cost? And how long does it take?
