Getting Too Attached: Connecting to Hurting Children and Broken Families with Chris and Katie Sherrod

June 23, 2021 //  by Sam McLure

After decades of experience as parents, foster parents, and adoptive parents, Chris and Katie Sherrod have become partners in helping struggling parents who have lost custody of their children make the life changes needed, and gain the skills they want and need, to heal their families.
Chris and Katie bring that rare blend of wisdom/experience and humility/gentleness that is powerful and compelling.
In addition to parenting, grand-parenting, and working with Families Count, Chris is the Discipleship Minister at South Spring Baptist Church in Tyler, TX and Katie is on the board of The Fostering Collective.
We are deeply honored to introduce you to them, and highly commend their story and their wisdom to you.
