Please join us on this Sunday, November 3rd in a prayer service dedicated to God’s love for orphans. On Orphan Sunday, Christians will come together and stand for the 132 million orphans in this world. We are a people called to defend the fatherless, to care for the child that has no family, and visit orphans in their distress. Congregations all over the world will be joining together for prayer and sharing stories of hope and encouragement as Christians bring awareness to the community about God’s call to care for orphans.
You can join this great effort in Montgomery, Alabama, at River City Church located at 301 Dexter Avenue. Our very own Sam McLure will be sharing his testimony on how orphan care and adoption changed the course of his life. The River City Church location will conduct the Orphan Sunday prayer service from 5 PM- 6 PM. Childcare will be provided for children 5 years old and younger. We look forward to seeing you there!
